The Story behind the Name Rose

As you know I am so the birth name I had wasn’t any good to use for me anymore.
For a time I mainly used the name Rye. I indeed still use that name. But after some private issues I wanted a new name.
I asked my best friend back then for name ideas. They said that if they would’ve been born female their parent would’ve given them a flower name like Rose.
Then I thought “Rose, wait, that’s a nice name” … so I stole that name from them as they would put it.

I, by now, noticed tho that there are so many people with the same name I have. I know so many Roses. I somehow get the feeling that every other person is named Rose nowadays.

Nonetheless I really like the name, that’s why I’ve chosen it. I really like how it sounds and my friends calling me by that name.

So I don’t know if I will keep that name for ever or will be searching for a more unique name for me.
